The Creative Accent

Growing up in beautiful southwest Virginia, the designer had a pretty thick Appalachian accent along with an accurate jumpshot and a love of drawing. Art was a passion early on and basketball was their business plan, which led them to a D1 scholarship at Valparaiso University in Indiana. At Valpo, the designer lost some of their southern twang but graduated with honors and a degree in Art and French. After college, they followed their passion for language, culture, and basketball, moving overseas to Belgium where they continued to play the game and learn Dutch on the side.

Even though every corner of the market feels saturated at times, the designer knows that something special is being offered. A unique story to tell. Their job is to help find the "visual words" to express that special something about a brand that sets it apart—its unique accent.
