I've been nerding out about sites and design since my high school computer teacher finally agreed to make a web design and coding curriculum just for me. (#smalltownschool)I devoured the information and used it to design and redesign my personal blogs over and over again. (MySpace and LiveJournal anyone?)Word got out and I began designing occasionally for non-profits and organizations in the area.  I've always loved understanding the Why behind the business and helping it to shine through its online presence.Despite training and working as a hairstylist for years, maternity leave with my son brought me back to the design roots I've always returned to. I saw the need for modern websites that can be managed by the business themselves, instead of being held hostage by a web developer.I love the transformation process that redesigning a site involves, and the joy of watching a customer realize that it's so much easier than they think with the right help.
