With roots tracing back to the groundbreaking work of Ben Burtt on Star Wars in 1977, we specialize in pushing the boundaries of sound design, mixing, and audio post-production across multiple mediums. Our journey began as Sprocket Systems, sharing office space in San Rafael with Industrial Light and Magic. In 1987, we relocated to the illustrious Skywalker Ranch, a sanctuary that would become our home.Skywalker Ranch has not only been a haven for sound innovation but also a platform for nurturing talent. Since 2013, we have proudly hosted the Sundance Institute's Music and Sound Design Labs. This extraordinary collaboration grants Sundance composers and filmmakers unprecedented access to our esteemed team of editors, sound designers, and re-recording mixers during the post-production process.
