Lewis Kalmbach established Kalmbach Advertising, Inc. as a design company with its headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1985. The business expanded to become a full-service advertising firm throughout the 1990s and established a branch office on Main Street in San Francisco. Under the new ownership of Cindy Smith and Andy Meadows, Kalmbach Advertising changed its name to Kalmbach Smith Meadows (KSM) in 2002. To further develop their skills and capacities and transform the business from a just advertising agency into a full-service marketing organisation, the two bought the agency. KSM's sole owner since 2010, Cindy Smith has continued to expand the business on its nearly 40-year heritage, network, and successes in the sector.
