In 2005, Borja Martinez on his own founds LoSiento, where he starts developingdifferent graphic design and art direction projects for clients such as Sandro Desii, Triticum , Acción Cultural Española AC/E, DHUB Museu del Disseny, Caixa Forum,Blanca From the Pyrenees , and AudiIn 2010, LoSiento is awarded by the FAD (Fomento de las Artes Decorativas) with theGrand Laus award for the Empo Project.In 2014, Borja Martinez is nominated to be part of the FAD assembly. Also in 2014 thestudio is awarded with 6 LAUS.In 2015 Lo Siento is awarded with a LAUS oro for the project “Latorre Punset”, a brandingand packaging work.In 2016, Borja Martinez is invited to become a member of the prestigious AGI( Alliance Graphique Internationale ).The studio has done more than 50 talks and workshops in different countries.Borja Martinez, creative director and founder, is frequently teaching in different designuniversities like Elisava, Idep, ES Design, IED o Isia Urbino in Italy.The studio has a scope of projects such as a creative agency in Barhein, a customizepackaging new company in Beirut, editorial design for Guzman Gastronomia, brandingarchitecture for Basque Culinary Center, and complete branding project for a french chefspecialized in free gluten cuisine, or a food market in NYC by the hand of chef Jose Andres todescribe some of them.Nowadays, LoSiento gathers a team of 6 professionals and continues to work indesign projects from the fields of corporative, packaging, editorial and carryingout personal projects as well.The studio is specially interested in taking over identity projects as a whole.The main feature of its work is its physical and material approach to the graphicsolutions, resulting in a field where graphic and industrial go hand by hand,in a constant search for an alliance with the artisan processes.
