Founded in 2020 during COVID-19 by Shirley Wang, it was initially a way to help her dad's traditional-modeled business in China rebrand as a sustainable company with a people-first approach. After the success of this first-ever international campaign, Shirley quickly realized that effective marketing = heartfelt intention, purpose-driven message and authentic storytelling. Determined to test out the idea of "Hackrah Media", Shirley continued to help many other local businesses in various industries pivot their marketing. Since coming to Boston for university in 2022, the Hackrah Media team has grown from a one-person solopreneurship to an 8-person Gen-Z team, freelance content creation and influencers/UGC creators network. Our mission is to uplift and empower our clients and partners to make a social impact through authentic, personalized, and disruptive brand stories. Our vision is to to revolutionize the future of marketing through creative strategies, an impact-first mindset, and a youth-led perspective.
